Expression of Interest – Healthcare Development Managers (NSW and QLD)

Location Macquarie Park, New South Wales, Australia Job ID R-240719 Date posted 01/12/2025

About the Roles

AstraZeneca invites expressions of interest for Healthcare Development Managers in New South Wales and Queensland to drive influenza vaccination uptake across state programs and broader eligible patient groups.

These new roles within AstraZeneca’s Respiratory & Immunology portfolio offer a rare opportunity to launch a brand‑new product and disrupt the vaccine landscape by improving overall coverage rates.

The role blends strategic planning with in‑field execution—removing access and adoption barriers through compliant partnerships, targeted education, and agile, mid‑season optimisation—to lift vaccination uptake among priority populations.

If you have experience working with diverse stakeholders across Public Health Units, Primary Health Networks, and the implementation of public health programs, we’d value your expression of interest.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree (essential).
  • Postgraduate pharmaceutical industry experience and a proven track record of sales success.
  • Demonstrated project management and strong customer-facing skills.
  • Leadership capabilities, financial acumen, and excellent written and oral communication.
  • Desirable: Secondary degree/equivalent experience in a relevant scientific or business discipline; vaccine experience; prior public health, sales management, or general management experience.

Location/Work Style

  • These are field-based with travel across the state (either NSW or QLD).
  • Ideal location would close to Sydney or Brisbane
  • These roles are initially 12 Month Contracts.

How to Express Interest

If you’re motivated to improve influenza vaccination coverage and thrive in complex, stakeholder-rich health ecosystems, we'd love to hear from you.

Submit your expression of interest including a resume that outlines relevant experience. The formal recruitment process will start in early 2026 (Jan/Feb)
